Salvation Is Closer Than You Think

Salvation is through Jesus Christ

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” — Romans 10:9-10

Sometimes we make salvation sound complicated. Like there is a long list of requirements to meet, a certain level of goodness to reach, or a specific amount of faith to accumulate before God will accept us.

But Romans 10:9-10 strips it all back to something beautifully simple.

Believe. Confess. Be saved.

Not believe perfectly. Not confess flawlessly. Not have everything figured out before you come to Him. Simply believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord — that He died for your sins and that God raised Him from the dead — and confess that with your mouth.

That’s it. That is the door to salvation.

Friend, this is the most important decision you will ever make. Not a decision about a career, a relationship, or a place to live — but a decision about eternity. And God has made it as simple and accessible as possible because He desperately wants you to walk through that door.

You don’t have to clean yourself up first. You don’t have to have it all together. You don’t have to understand every theological detail. You just need a willing heart and a sincere confession.

Maybe you’ve been thinking about this for a while. Maybe someone you love has been praying for you. Maybe you’ve been watching from a distance wondering if God could really accept someone like you.

He can. He will. He wants to.

Right now, wherever you are, you can pray something like this:

“Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and that God raised You from the dead. I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart and make me new. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer — welcome to the family of God. Everything changes now. 🤍

Watch: Faith in Jesus Will Save You

Closing Prayer:

Father thank You for making salvation so simple and so accessible. Thank You for sending Your Son so that whosoever believes shall be saved. Help me never to take that gift for granted and help me to share it with everyone I meet. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Affirmation: Salvation is not earned — it is received. Believe in your heart. Confess with your mouth. You are saved. 🤍
