Have you ever noticed that fear has a way of showing up right when God is about to do something great in your life? Right before a breakthrough, right before a blessing, right before something new begins — there it is. Fear whispering that you’re not ready, not worthy, or that something is going to go wrong.
But here is the truth that changes everything — that fear is not from God.

Think about that. When you inventory everything God has given you — salvation, grace, mercy, peace, purpose, identity, inheritance — fear is nowhere on that list. It was never part of His plan for you. It was never something He designed you to carry.
God’s plan for you includes power — the ability to face whatever comes your way. It includes love — a love so perfect it drives out every fear. And it includes a sound mind — the ability to think clearly, trust His Word, and stand firm when fear tries to shake you.
So the next time fear knocks at your door — remember where it came from. It didn’t come from your Heavenly Father. It didn’t come from the One who made you, saved you, and calls you His heir. Fear comes from the enemy, whose greatest weapon against you is a lie.
And you, friend, are armed with the truth. God has not given you a spirit of fear. He has given you power. He has given you love. He has given you a sound mind.
